Democamp 8 - July 25 2006
This time we got off to a fast start, Jay Goldman, David Crow, Chandra Bulicon and I all got our tech wit togeather and we all arrived with equipent in hand. Setup took only 20 minutes. The only real hickup was the vga scanner but its all good. Thanks to Bryce for bringing it (His Camera saved the day by allowing us to record the screen.
6:45 - Wild Apricot is on the stand
KRISPY: Looks pretty good, got a little lost during the presentation but I was distracted by keeping the audo equipment running smoothy. Small adjustments to audio level. We acutually used this application for this democamp's registration. I would advise anyone who uses the web to check out this application as it packs a punch and has a lot to offer.
CHANDRA: whatever Krispy just said about running audio equipment smoothly is a load of crappy doodle. I was running all of that. He was screwing with my buttons.

KRISPY: Some Ryerson Grads (Ya Ryerson - I'm a grad from there too) Very ajaxy and looks like a good mashup of data to google maps. Looks like a solid applicatio with a lot to offer the unemployed. ;-)
CHANDRA: "Tell them I realized I'm a shitty camera person..."
KRISPY: ~I may have to take over the camera work.

KRISPY: The SMS feature is very cool, and I'm impressed with the number of large companies they have on the rosters. I need to find out how wide the search really goes (Canada, USA?, Mexico?). Very good set of features (did I say that already?) The Add JobLoft To your site feature is nice but I don't know why anyone would use it? Only took 9 months...very cool.

KRISPY: Mic adjustments required... This site looks very cool, I like video and pics and sending them to people. Looks like flash or maybe its some wicked cool dhtml/ajax. Definitly flash - just saw the flash logo... Pretty cool. Multi function upload with realtime record! Very cool.

KRISPY: I really have to get Chandra another beer.
KRISPY: Very cool app - I snuck out so I'll have to watch the video to really get this app.
